All Our Missions
Over the years, the CTI’s responsibilities have evolved and now include:
1
Periodic evaluation of all engineering schools in France for accreditation to award the French Diplôme d’ingénieur, a state-recognised engineering degree at master’s level. The CTI makes accreditation decisions for private and consular institutions and issues recommendations to the relevant ministries for public institutions.
2
A la demande, Evaluation of international institutions upon request.Subject to the agreement of the governments concerned, the resulting assessment of master’s-level engineering programmes may, in particular, lead to the recognition of the corresponding degrees and qualifications in France through the Admission par l’État procedure.
3
Defining the generic profile of a master’s-level engineer and developing the criteria and procedures required for awarding the French engineering degree and carrying out the CTI’s missions.
